Information & Contact
Tangible Space is an interactive experience with the focus to make complex real-time weather datasets more tangible. Three dynamic environments enable the participants to explore these datasets in a playful approach.
Based on Andy Stott’s record Luxury Problems the ongoing project features digital created busts. In the same vein as his sample-oriented song structure, the process and methods used to create every bust are the same - scanned 3d data of busts, stone sculptures and bones are recreated and rearranged to fit the dark tone of the music.
Reconstructing Fallwater is an experimental approach of photographic image analysis. A large amount of freely accessible photos from online databases where used as a main source to feed an algorithmic-driven 3D-reconstruction.
Topology Of Transformation
TOF features an interactive Installation which invites the user to observe the transformation of two metropolises in countries that underwent or are undergoing economic and political transformations of socialist to market-oriented paradigms. Link to the full movie.
Quanta Magazine Illustrations
In collaboration with the editorially independent division of Simons Foundation and Wired, I've created several illustrations for articles, focusing on developments in mathematics, theoretical physics, theoretical computer science and the basic life sciences.
Arbor x Panoply Plates
Collaboration project with Arbor Skateboards. The Bamboo Collection features a set of my original panoply plates illustrations on several longboards.
NR°5 features an interactive journey through a seemingly brutalist architectural environment based on real-time data. The concept of this non-game is to visualize datasets in a more playful approach - by using public available data which generates a continuous flow of procedural 3D elements. NR°5 is developed in Unity3D with the specific usage of VR HMDs.
Clash of Realities 2016 – 17
Visual Identity for the international research conference Clash of Realities. Unique in Europe, this research conference brings together academics and artists for an interdisciplinary exchange on technological development, artistic design and social perception of digital games.
Vinyl Covers & Artworks
Graphic designs for various music records.
Pariah – Signal Loss music video
Official music video for the musician Arthur Cayzer. Several 3D scanning technologies (Microsoft XBOX360 Kinect and ReconstructMe) were used to create the main protagonist of the 3D video. The seemingly simple yet vibrant low-poly environment was created to mirror the melancholic mood of Pariah's track. Link to the full video.
